Our revolutionary healthcare system. Equitable quality wellness for all.

EqualiWell Mobile Unit (EMU)

The EqualiWell Mobile Units (EMU’s) are designed to be fully independent units that are able to provide care in remote locations. They are equipped with photo-voltaic solar panels, batteries, water tank, and 4G signal enhancer. At the same time, they have the ability to dock in all hospital typologies to offload waste and on-load resources such as utilities and medicine.

They are designed to take the least amount of space while providing patients and medical workers with a comfortable environment. This is achieved by providing a professional environment, air conditioned room, and a good amount of natural light through large windows. Proper air circulation is achieved through mechanical ventilation fans that are filtered to avoid spread of diseases.

All EMU’s are designed within the standard structure to optimize modularity. Each unit is equipped with a folding door mechanism that not only expands the space, but also allows the units to connect to one another, which is further explained in the EMU Aggregation page.

Structure

Based on the standard shipping container, the EMU is designed using a steel frame structure modified for the use of sandwich panels instead of corrugated steel. This design allows it to not only be flexible due to its modularity, but also to maximize current supply chain. Since everything nowadays is designed based on standard shipping containers, EMU’s will be easy to manufacture, transport, and store.
