Modern Tropical Apartment.
Design and concept for a residential apartment in the heart of Fort Bonifacio, Philippines.

The original floorplan of the apartment had a lot of walls and divisions, which left the space feeling cramped. The renovation design optimized the space by creating more movable sliding walls to have more options with its spaces. These glass sliding walls made the space feel a lot larger and thus more livable. The original floorplan also included a maid’s room. We transformed it to become a laundry room, pantry, and storage.
The kitchen was also redesigned to be more robust. It now includes a proper dishwasher and a combi oven. The blue cabinetry adds a pop of color that brings more life to the apartment.
For the color palette of the apartment, we decided to use more earth tones such as beige and wood to provide a more comfortable environment. We then used several pops of color to give the space more life.
